Learning about Fiscal Matters and Empowerment

Learning about fiscal matters like saving, budgeting and business structure opens up openings for women who have endured domestic violence to have more of a voice in their home and communities. The Anglican Sisters at the Christian Care center are reaching those who need it most.

Anglican Overseas Aid Collaboration

In recent times, Anglican Overseas Aid began working more closely with the Christian Care center( CCC) in Guadalcanal fiefdom, Solomon islets as a part of our safe-deposit box, Strong Communities program. The CCC is an important retreat for women, as one of only many places women can go to admit sanctum and support in situations of domestic violence in the Solomon islets. It is possessed and run by our mate, the Anglican Church of Melanesia ( ACOM), with Anglican Sisters managing and delivering the services and programs.

Financial Knowledge and Training

At the Anglican Sisters’ request, Anglican Overseas Aid worked with ACOM to deliver training to the Sisters so that they can educate the women that come to them for further help about fiscal knowledge. Tutoring vulnerable women that come to them for retreat chops like saving plutocrat and avoiding fiscal challenges helps give them more independence and control over their lives and equips them to take care of their family and children. Plutocrat chops also help them navigate stressful fiscal situations at home that impact their connections.

Practical Financial Learning

The Sisters take the new literacy from the fiscal knowledge training and talk to the women about plutocrat and finances during their ongoing living conditioning with the women, including crafts and vocational sessions.

• Give them confidence in openings to earn plutocrat.

Gender Equality and Counseling

During their time at the Christian Care center, the survivors open up, giving the Sisters the occasion to talk to them about their connections and home life. The occasion to counsel the survivors during their time at the center is inestimable. To help them with this, the Sisters who attended the fiscal knowledge training also attended Gender Equality Theology(GET) training. This training about gender relations from a Christian- values-based perspective allows the Sisters to talk to the women in a way that they will understand and engage If you are writing a formal text, avoid using preposition at the end of sentence.

Transformation and Confidence Building

While occasionally it can be hard for both the Sisters and the survivors to accept Andre-interpretation of the Bible and theology, the women’s views and outlook soften and change, which eventually rebuilds confidence in both themselves and humanity. The training is an important part of addressing the underpinning causes of gender-based violence and the traditional ideas that contribute to the detriment the survivors have endured.

Positive Impact and Moving Forward

With these trainings, the Anglican Sisters are encouraged that they are suitable to appreciatively impact the women and give them the chops they need to rebuild their lives when they leave the CCC.
